 Wiamea, My little "Red Wave" Hawaiian girl donated to the Astrex Rabbit Re~Development Program by Leslie in Hawaii and shipped in Spring of 2004. She and Ripples have made an absolutely fabulously, wonderful cross !! This is their first litter and I'm thrilled with the kits... all five of which are spoiled rotten at only 6 weeks old !! Wiamea is a "buff" red doe of mini rex size but mixed ancestry, and is now, as of Valentine's Day 2005, one year old !! She has retained much wave to her rex coat...she's a little girl also, weighing in at just 3 3/4 pounds. I call her: "My Little Hawaiian Girl". She, and her sister, Whisper, where in transit close to 14 hours to arrive here. What a miracle they have been also !! Thank you again Leslie for your kindness in donating the girls.
